Anna Dagmar is a British-born, NYC-based pianist and singer-songwriter whose sound has been described as “atmospheric and almost other-worldy, yet grounded by intelligent, thought-provoking lyrics that are sure to touch your mind and your heart,” (Kathy Sands-Boehmer, Me & Thee). Dagmar is a two-time Gold Prize winner in the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest and a Kerrville New Folk Finalist. She has performed in venues including City Winery, Tupelo Hall and Club Passim. Her 2012 album Satellite charted #5 on the National Roots Music Report and has played on over 100 stations nationwide. Dagmar has performed two official showcases at the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance (NERFA). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Performance and Education from the Eastman School of Music.
